Measures are being taken to try to prevent mental health patients absconding from a West Bromwich hospital by jumping over fences to get away.
Bosses as the Black Country's NHS trust are taking action at Hallam Street Hospital as the number of patients leaving without permission has remained high.
A report to Sandwell Council shows that in 2012/13, the total number of patients absconding in the whole area covered by Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust was 210, and of those, 123 were from Hallam Street.
