FOX Basketball Near Deal showing New Soccer Match in US Beginning That Summer: The Nightly EPL

FOX Soccer is apparently working on a deal to televise a brand-new basketball competition that will launch this summer offering nine outstanding clubs playing exhibition matches around the United States, with the last to be performed at Miamias Sun Life Stadium in early August, according to reports in Sports Illustrated and Sports Business Journal. Facts are sketchy (a conference has been planned for tomorrow), but teams supposedly interested in engaging include Real Madrid, Manhattan Project Galaxy and Juventus. More than one groups from England and Germany may also be likely to compete. The single-elimination tournament is known as theAInternational Champions Cup and is being headed by Miami Dolphins operator Stephen Ross. The winning team in the event will allegedly receive $1 million in prize money. The competition will be presented on FOX Soccer this summer, while FOX Sports 1 will televise the fits in the summer of 2014 and 2015.
