Adam Scott Not Eligible for 'The Bachelor,' Dating Girlfriend Marie Kojzar

Adam Scott better get himself to a flower shop, because his girlfriend Marie Kojzar just saved him from the beautiful mess that is "The Bachelor."

CBS Sports is proud to report the Australian who just won the Masters is not single at the moment. In a video interview, he is asked straight out about his eligibility, and he says in no uncertain terms that he is "not single at all."

He's apparently back in his on-again-off-again relationship with Marie Kojzar ("Marie" as he calls her). Their relationship was outlined in this 2008 Sports Illustrated article.

He had previously dated tennis player Ana Ivanovic and it was rumored that he was being pursued quite heavily by the producers of The Bachelor.

Scott spoke a little more candidly about his relationship in a 2007 interview posted on Golf.com. While the report is dated, you get a sense of the relationship playing out behind the scenes.

At the time of the interview, Scott mentions he and Kojzar had been dating for four years, something he considered a record for himself.

That lone tweet caused an internet clamor for Scott, with fans of the show demanding the new sports heartthrob feature in an upcoming season.

Thankfully, Scott averts pop culture disaster and can now concentrate on golf. And if our math is correct, it's about time he put a ring on a certain someone's finger.
