LONDON (SE) - Liverpool is likely to be without forbidden forward Luis Suarez once they travel to St James' Park to simply take on relegation-threatened Newcastle on Saturday. Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool (13-12-9) have had a mixed time and find themselves 10 points off the European areas (and five behind neighbors Everton) with only four games remaining. But, they'll need to play these matches without their star striker after the Uruguay international was hit with a 10-match ban for biting Branislav Ivanovic in the 2-2 draw with Chelsea last weekend. "It is the severity of the bar that's hurt most," said Rodgers. "That is some thing we are bitterly disappointed with - not so much the bar since everybody has observed it and Luis was really open and honest to learn it was wrong. I felt it might have been 12 games but with a six-game bar and six games suspended, considering his future behaviour. I actually do not think anybody could have disagreed with this. "I can't help but view it and believe the abuse has been contrary to the person as opposed to the event. We will look after our employee with the aim that something such as this never occurs again. He is still very much part of the Liverpool family and very much part of the future." Liverpool have drawn their last three league matches and have said points in seven of the last seven (4-3-1) to climb to seventh invest the table. Newcastle (10-7-17) are six points clear of the relegation zone, but have played a casino game more than 18th-placed Wigan, and know they are far from safe as the end of the growing season looms. "We have worked hard on the team this week and are getting excited about Saturday," said Newcastle employer Alan Pardew. "We have had a little bit of time to work with the staff and for them to be clean, and they've been so different in teaching. "The people know they carry some good results to be got by the responsibility of this club in the last games. The target for us currently is simply to get 40 items as rapidly as you are able to, and that will be the same for any group in the bottom half the table. If you get yourself a handful of wins then you may start to look at the top ten since it is that small, but we simply need to secure some points." today as we speak Newcastle have doubts over Papiss Cisse (rib), Cheick Tiote (hamstring) Sylvain Marveaux (crotch) and Tim Krul (shoulder), but Davide Santon (hamstring), Fabricio Coloccini (back) and Ryan Taylor (knee) are out. Liverpool have doubts over Ryan Sterling (hip) and Joe Allen (shoulder), but Martin Kelly (knee) and Fabio Borini (shoulder) are out. These clubs received 1-1 once they achieved at Anfield earlier in the period, with Suarez and Yohan Cabaye rating the targets in a game title that also saw Fabricio Coloccini sent off for the Magpies.
