Manchester City's Samir Nasri banned from operating - BBC Media

Nasri was fined A2,100 and prohibited for 6 months Birmingham City footballer Samir Nasri has been prohibited from after his car was clocked rushing 3 times driving. Nasri was initially charged in June but this was overturned after a declaration was signed by him declaring he was unaware his Mercedes have been captured on camera. A fresh investigation was then begun by police and on Tuesday the France global mentioned three offences of failing continually to provide the identification of a driver. Tameside magistrates fined Nasri, 25, A2,100 and gave a six-month bar to him. Nasri's car was caught on camera travelling above the speed limit 3 x in 2011. On Wednesday, Nasri's City team-mate Carlos Tevez was ordered to handle 250 hours of community service after he admitted driving while restricted.
