Three-way H lost in his first match on Raw in a couple of years Monday night, but consistent with F4Wonline (via Wrestling Inc. ), it was the superstar's post-match measures signaling a possible concussion that will be the main focus of that angle moving forward.

Multiply H is reportedly "fine" (per F4Wonline), but addressing the concussion conditions facing the WWE in addition to all major sports through a marquee storyline is the smartest move for the company.

The WWE has made the commitment to analyze outside the ring and additionally behind the scenes as well (h/t Gary Mihoces involving USA Today), and now provides the lessons learned to a major character in this company:

World Wrestling Entertainment, known for past stars such as Hulk Hogan and active champ John Cena, says it can be making a gift of $1. 2 million over three years to further research aimed toward developing a treatment designed for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. The mind disease, associated with duplicated concussions, has come under scrutiny amid concussion-related lawsuits by a lot more than 4, 000 former NFL players with league. CTE has been known to cause depression and dementia.

The WWE medical staff did not clear the superstar to use it Monday after being needed for a violent battle against Brock Lesnar at Sunday's Excessive Rules pay-per-view, but Multiple H insisted on fighting with each other reinvented superstar Curtis Axel.

What resulted was one of the many toughest men in this company brought to his knees using a neurological injury. With the focus within the sports world at just about every level shifting to preventing and treating concussions, now was the proper time to use this storyline.

Not only are concussions a topic being addressed in the NFL, NHL and every sport around the globe, but the WWE is in addition facing the issue involving brain injuries itself along with World Heavyweight champion Dolph Ziggler together with his recovery.

Ziggler shared with WWE. com that he suffered his concussion from kick from Jack Strut and lost long spans of memory from the following day. As seen over the WWE app after Raw went heli-copter flight air, Triple H's character was also suffering from similar symptoms.

Not only will this create an interesting storyline for ones WWE, but this will at the same time give the company to be able to lay out exactly how concussions should be handled in the long term.

Storyline or not, the company has the opportunity to set a very real precedent for how the idea handles possible brain injuries and concussions whenever they are diagnosed.

The WWE was formerly viewed as a joke due to the lackadaisical approach to the safety in the superstars, but since the inception for the Wellness Policy in 2006, the company has been trending in the right direction with regard to making a safe work place.
