Demolition Maintaining Of Jersey Shore’s Airliner Star Roller Coaster Appropriately Sounds like Carnival Claw Game.

Big day on the Jersey Shoreline on Tuesday. First Prince Harry turns up to view Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts, then this crane will start demolishing the roller coaster that blew inside the ocean during the tornado. The iconic Seaside Altitudes attraction, the Jet Superstar, went for a swim in the October storm and triggered great wailing and gnashing of teeth among the local populace who appreciated her. It was on Casino Pier, one within the two amusement park piers from Seaside Heights (the other, Funtown Pier, won't reopen right up until 2014).

No fun of any sort over there since that storm, unless you count the main guy who tried to climb to the Jet Star while it was eventually in the ocean. Although don't worry kids, the rides can be back.

Casino Pier is rebuilt and will include at least 18 rides this the summer months, including a new pendulum cycle called The Superstorm, inside defiance of Sandy.
