Mosley vs .. Cano: Sugar Shane Will need to Call It Quits When Ending Losing Streak.

After being winless for any past four years, Shane Mosley was finally in a position to end the streak on Saturday night against Cesar Cano.

After a very difficult stretch of fights, Sugar Shane needs to help you finally retire and close his career on somewhat of a high note.

At 41 years of age, his best boxing a long time are certainly behind your ex. He has a respectable career record of 47-8-1 by means of 39 knockouts, but the recent winless skills put a blemish on the successful career. If he continues looking to fight, that record will pursue to look worse and more painful.

Even in the fight Cano, who is a relatively average fighter, Mosley experienced his struggles. Even though he was able to win this fight as a result of unanimous decision, there were times within the fight where Mosley have also been staggered.

According to an investigation by ESPN. com before the fight, Mosley believed he lost before resulting from injuries, saying:

"The last few fights I lost owing to injuries, but I'm properly, " said the 41-year-old Mosley (46-8-1, 39 KOs) following your weigh-in. "My body informs me I'm well, so we are still travelling to be doing this temporarly while. Cano is a tough fighter, but I shouldn't have any problems beating your ex and being on my approach to win a world title. "

If Mosley is right now having trouble with sub-par competition, how can he expect you'll continue fighting at an increased level like he used to?

Back in the morning, Sugar Shane was one of the best fighters in the environment. He held titles with three weight divisions, positioning the IBF Lightweight, WBC Welterweight, WBA Welterweight and several other Championships. He started out his career with 38 consecutive wins before falling to Vernon Forrest with 2002. He has two substantial wins in his career resistant to the great Oscar De Chicago Hoya.

Now, it's pretty clear which Sugar Shane can't match the competition. He's lost unanimous decisions to either Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Junior. since 2010, and it's pretty obvious that he's helpless to pull off an disappointed against any solid fighter at this stage in his career.

Being subtracted from retirement for a struggle is nice, but now Mosley gets the opportunity to end his career officially using a win. Not every mma fighter can say that, and it would perform lot to keep a good reputation on one of the better fighters of this particular generation.
